My first lab attempt

I failed my first lab attempt in San Jose the 19^th of November. I did this attempt just after the INE R&S bootcamp. It is a hard feeling to know that you have failed but I knew that it was going to be tough. The troubleshooting section killed me. I usually enjoy the TS section when doing mock labs but in the real lab it is a ~28 routers topology instead of 6 (with INE topology). Actually I did 2 of the new TS labs from INE  and they are really well done and there are automatically graded (Presentation Video).

BGP and MPLS completed

It has been a while since I haven´t written in the blog but I have been busy with work and training.

I have now completed my BGP and MPLS exam which will give me a solid understanding for my CCIE training.

In order to pass these 2 exams I have used the student and lab guides from Cisco. I have done all the labs using real device as well as GNS3 (especially for MPLS where I used 13 routers!)

Cisco Networkers 2010 – Barcelona

My company has offered me the opportunity to go to Cisco Networkers which will take place in Barcelona next february. I am really happy as it is the first time that I am going to this kind of event.

It will be in Barcelona from the 25 to the 28 of february.  My programme is mostly focused on EEM (Embedded Event Manager) and QoS.
