Hi – awesome blog! This lab is quite different to the INE one: http://www.ine.com/topology.htm. Did you use this setup for all the INE studies you did? how did it match to the labs and work they had in their workbook?
Hi Brad,
Yes the physical topology is a bit different from INE but at the end it is the same result. BB1 has different Serial interface numbers and some R routers also but apart from that it is the same.
What I did before doing a lab is to change the interface numbers (only for the serials of R1,R2 and R3 if I remember, the rest is the same). BB routers once configured, I didn’t change anything, it was the same for all the INE workbooks (Vol 1-4).

Laurent
Hi Laurent
Can you post more pics of your CCIE lab please ?

What do you want to see?

Very nice lab! Could you advise if BB and AS/FR can act as both while you simulate your CCIE RS lab scenarios! For example, BB2 can also be FR switch and BB3 can also be AS?
Hello Laurent, First Of all Congrats to you for your CCIE. Actually i can’t afford to buy all this equipment So if you have any idea to make a combination of GNS3 and real Switches and that can work good for my CCIE lab. Waiting for your answer.
Hi Fahad,
I don’t have experience with hybrid GNS3 setup. I have used GNS3 only for blogging which was great. However I remember that I had few issues with GNS3 and I needed to spend time debugging more a GNS3 issue than a network issue. I have heard some people who have used GNS3 topology for their CCIE study but I would rather advice real lab gears and if you cannot afford it you could try rack rentals. Good luck with your studies.

Hi Laurent,
As i can see that you are using cisco 2811 to be as Frame-relay. Would you mind sharing the configuration for the BB1 ? I would like to know how many WIC-2T you are using on cisco2811.
